Over the past 25 years, Hot Wax has built a full-time professional Vancouver DJ Entertainment business with clients from all over British Columbia, Canada the U.S Europe & Asia. We have emceed over thousands of functions, from weddings to Bar/Bat Mitzvah's and Corporate Affairs. How do we do it? We share with our audience our passion and knowledge for music, our love for people and our flare for fun!

DJ Elliott, President & Operations Manager
Elliott is touted as an expert on how to motivate a crowd and keep them entertained. He began his career playing the lunch-hour tunes at his high school and went on to graduate from BCIT Radio Broadcasting. He's been in the business of getting people dancing for over 24 years having, personally performed at over 1500 events. Elliott’s voice is clear and distinctive, which makes him a natural for voice over work, advertising and of course, disc jockeying. His passion for music and his ability to entertain is what makes Elliott unique. His success is built on his innovative approach to the DJ business, which includes a strong advertising component, constant upgrading of technology and a superior training program for his staff. On the flip side, his commitment to serving his clients is unparalleled in a business that is often inconsistent. When he’s not spinning tunes, Elliott trains youths to be the next up-and-coming DJ's. Elliott is always looking for the opportunity to take not-for-profit organization events to the next level.
Ozzie, Sales & Marketing Guru
Ozzie brings over 20 years of experience with her from past careers in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries, where she planned and managed hundreds of events for celebrities and business leaders. Ozzie’s entrepreneurial spirit took flight in the early 1990s, when she created her own catering company, Second Helpings. Since then, she’s been on the rampage to build business opportunities, which she does with enthusiasm and flare! Ozzie is currently on a quest to produce superior products in the DJ market place. Hot Wax is a great example of Ozzie’s determination and will to create a DJ company that reaches markets beyond the wedding crowds. Microsoft and Helijet are just two major corporations who have raved about the Hot Wax experience. When she’s not working the job, Ozzie is working the room. An avid networker and volunteer, Ozzie belongs to a number of organizations,Valley Women's Network, Business Network International (BNI), CSES and has received numerous awards as Master Networker. She also donates her spare time and resources to Music for Life, in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association. Ozzie's goal is to help others achieve theirs.
DJ Scott has been with Hot Wax for over 17 years! Over the years, Scott has performed at hundreds of corporate functions, weddings and not-for-profit events. Scott takes pride in his performances and enjoys playing requests. Popular with our clients, Scott receives rave reviews and often gets requested. His passion for music, his desire to entertain combined with great work ethics has made him a great asset to the Hot Wax team. In his spare time, Scott enjoys rebuilding old radios, and is constantly working on expanding his musical knowledge.
DJ Aman, a 10 year veteran with Hot Wax is well known in the community for being personable and accommodating. He is well versed in hip hop and old school and at youth events; Aman has been seen busting a move or moon walking across the dance floor. His diversity in ethnic music has enabled him to entertain at both weddings and multi cultural events. Aman is also a Bar/Bat Mitzvah DJ. A standout basketball player in high school, Aman continually plays sports and is always looking for new ways to enhance his musical knowledge.
DJ Jordan has been a DJ for 5 years and has quickly expanded his repertoire to include teen dances, Bar & Bat Mitzvah's and Corporate events and weddings. A 3rd year SFU Business student, he also operates and runs a successful Student Works Painting franchise. Jordan's reliability, commitment to detail and immense knowledge of music has made him a big asset to Hot Wax. In his spare time, Jordan can be seen snowboarding on the local hills.
DJ Taylor a Premiere Baseball pitcher has already proved himself to be the next up and coming DJ in the youth market. Not a stranger to the microphone, Taylor can often be seen leading dances, motivating the crowd and organizing contests at youth events and Bar & Bat Mitzvahs. Taylor's cosmic knowledge of the various genres, great attitude and work ethic is a unique combination that is appreciated by both his fellow DJ's and client's alike. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys acting in theatre productions, TV commercials and musicals, writing music, snowboarding and playing ball for the Douglas College Royals.
DJ Chuck is a seasoned veteran in the entertainment industry and his talents span from a producer, performer, musician and DJ. Having worked throughout Western Canada and as far as Mexico, he is most recognized in Calgary AB. If you are looking for an interactive host, with an extensive acting background, he's your guy. Want a laid back DJ with a stellar taste in a wide range of music? A specialist in themed events, Chuck will deliver your party/soiree.
DJ Ilan A fresh addition to the team, Ilan has been able to conquer the art of DJ'ing, and has already proven he's got what it takes to keep any young crowd entertained and dancing at high school event and Bar & Bat Mitzvah's. His outgoing attitude, energetic and enthusiastic personality, charisma and love for music are great assets. Quick learning abilities have enabled him to adjust to any environment. Ilan is always looking to increase his musical knowledge and experience in the world of disk jockeying. He can be seen working at many youth and teen events. Ilan volunteers as a councilor for children for a youth led program and has had a lot of experience in keeping people entertained. When he is not working Ilan enjoys spending time with his friends, and playing soccer. He also plays bass and guitar and writes his own songs. Ilan has a passion for what he does, loves to have fun and will make sure your party will be one to remember.
DJ Ashley is one of our newest addition to the Hot Wax team. With over 9 years experience as a DJ/MC in both Vancouver and Toronto he has the skills to make any party a memorable one. He started his DJ career in Vancouver in 1999 using turntables during the club scene. He has already shown that he is here to stay and can turn any occasion into a great interactive party, which makes him the perfect DJ for your event.
DJ Mike
is the newest addition to the Hot Wax team. Mike is outgoing, full of energy, and enthusiasm. Mike specializes in youth events such as schools & bar/bat mizvahs. He enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and also played college soccer for the Langara Falcons.
DJ Ron has been a member of the Hot Wax team for over 3 years. Originally from the Prairies, DJ Ron boasts more than seven years experience working as a DJ/MC. He has experience playing pubs, dance clubs, wedding halls, Christmas parties and harbor boat cruises. An amateur music historian, he is knowledgeable in all genres of music, including classic rock, country, R&B, jazz, hip-hop and rap. In his spare time he races RVs.
DJ Larry has been a member of the Hot Wax team for over 9 years. A seasoned DJ, Larry's specialty is weddings and corporate events. His many years in the service industry managing Thrifty Foods has enabled him to deliver exceptional customer service as well as creating raving fans. Larry likes to make a difference at each and every event.
DJ Anton began with Hot Wax 8 years ago. After spending 3 years in Edmonton spinning tunes in several bars and night clubs, Anton has happily returned to Vancouver, and is enthusiastically back with the team. Anton has extensive experience DJ'ing in various environments and in certain circles is known as a Bar Mitzvah DJ, corporate functions and wedding receptions. In his spare time he can be found volunteering, keeping up with music, playing golf, and watching his favorite NHL team, the Vancouver Canucks.
